Bought it as a Father's Day gift

| My dad loves collecting coins so I figure this would be a great addition to his collection. I'm happy with most part except for some details - the plastic rim wasn't smooth and there are some minor chips. THe coin itself looks great though. |
Truly a ugly coin

| I am not trying to be funny but this is a truly ugly coin. When one reviews how the other American presidents have been rendered from Washington,to Lincoln,to Eisenhower or Kennedy one is immediately taken back at how ugly this coin is.It is possible Obama might not have the nice profile of say a J.F.K. but certaintly something better could have been managed as there is really no way to describe how ugly this coin truly is.I suppose this coin is better looking than some other gold coins out there like the gold Harry Reid coin,The Barney Frank coin and The Michael Jackson coin but I suppose beauty is in the eye of the beholder. |
